One of our core values is the Bible - and two of the ways we demonstrate this by our teaching the Bible and memorizing portions of Scripture. The current passage we are memorizing together is the Lord's prayer, since we are studying prayer. We know that most adults know this prayer, but we are taking these weeks memorizing it so make sure our children learn it as well.

Matthew 6:9-13

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
